Liability Insurance
Workmen’s Compensation Policy offers monetary compensation to the employees for the legal responsibility of the employer as per Royal Decree 40/1977 and its subsequent amendments to pay on the event of an injury or death arising out of and in the course of their employment.
Scope of Cover
- Death
- Permanent Total Disability
- Permanent Partial Disability
- Salary for the period of absence from work due to occupational injury / illness
- Medical Expenses (hospital admission, surgical expenses, cost of medicines etc.)
Extensions
- 24 hours coverage on duty or off duty
- Repatriation of injured workman
- Repatriation of the deceased remains to the hometown including ambulance charges, preparing mortal remains etc.
- Emoloyer’s liability
Exclusions
- Insured’s liability to employees of Contractors to the insured
- Any employee who is not a workman
- Any liability of the Insured under Common Law and/or Sharia Law other than as specified in the schedule
- Willful act or omission
- Liability under contract or agreement
